02

Level 5 drywall

A full skim coat across the drywall surface helps create a uniform base for paint, especially where light makes surface variation visible.

  • Drywall hanging and finishing
  • Full-surface skim coating
  • Preparation for a smooth painted finish

03

Texture & finishing

Wall and ceiling texture, texture matching, and smooth finishes. Choose a surface that suits your space, from a fresh application to an existing finish repair.

02 / THE FINISH MATTERS

When the light hits,
the finish shows.

Level 5 takes the surface beyond the seams.

After the joints and fasteners are finished, a thin skim coat covers the entire drywall surface. It helps reduce differences between the paper face and finished joints.

WHERE IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Large windows. Side lighting. Smooth walls. Glossy or darker paint.

The final result also depends on lighting, primer, paint, and application. We’ll help define the finish your project needs.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you get started.

Do you work with contractors and homeowners?

Yes. Nero Construction offers complete drywall services and metal framing for both contractors and homeowners in Central Florida.

What should I have ready for an estimate?

Project location, plans or measurements, service needed, finish expectations, and preferred schedule. Photos of the space can also help clarify the scope.

Does Level 5 mean the walls are painted?

Level 5 describes the drywall finish. Primer and paint are separate steps and should be confirmed in the project scope.
